What will you see?
Vic is placed in the centre of Catalonia. It's considered to be one of the more quintessential Catalan centres, both because the locals have especially strong Catalan pride, and also because it’s near the Ripoll area, the cradle of Catalan history.
Vic is defined by its elegant, enormous Plaça Major, ringed by historic, porticoes buildings, which features a colourful food market twice a week (Tuesdays and Saturdays).
Benedictine Monastery of Sant Pere de Casserres, will be your next stop, located on a cliff and surrounded by the waters of Sau dam.
This Romanesque Monastery has been there since the 11th century and it is considered one of the most important and beautiful Romanesque monuments in Catalonia.
Finally, let yourself be captivated by the romantic village of Rupit. A charming medieval village with narrow streets, rock-carved steps and stone houses in a gorgeous natural scenery where you will be able to travel back in time to the 16th and 17th century when the Catalan Robin Hood, Serrallonga, used to hide from the medieval police after stealing from the rich.
